Welcome to the new home of Summit Point Kart. Started in 2009, SPK is the latest avenue of excitement to come to Summit Point Motorsports Park. Since 1969 racing fans and enthusiasts have been coming to the panhandle of West Virginia to experience the excitement of various types of auto racing. A few of the brave actually get to be a part of the action. Identifying the expanding interests of its visitors over the years, Summit Point Raceway has widened its offerings with Driving Schools, Formula Car series, and Drifting. This same philosophy is bringing “arrive and drive” karting to the region’s favorite race facility. For 2010, kids as young as age 7 can participate in our youth program. Drivers 16 and up can take a shot at the Karting excitement by simply paying for a session that includes safety instruction, as well as a helmet and a driving suit to help add to the true “feel” of an on track experience.
Utilizing a fleet of 32 Sodi RX7 13hp Karts, events large and small will have everyone grinning from ear to ear. Bring a friend or the entire office. We accept walk ins and encourage private parties. If you arent sure, come on out for a quick demo session. See for yourself, this is some serious Karting.
The new Washington Circuit is where Summit Point Kart calls home. This is the latest addition to the facility and offers several configurations as well as a slight elevation change. It is fully lighted for night time excitement. The track layout enables our Sodi karts to achieve speeds that truly test the skills of the driver. Digital timing and scoring shows personal performance, further adding to the SPK experience.
